Syncing your data
Metricneed keeps your dashboard current three ways: on-demand manual syncs, scheduled auto-syncs, and real-time webhooks. Which you get depends on your plan.
What a sync does
A sync pulls the full picture from one connected provider — products, customers, subscriptions, transactions and refunds — and updates your normalized data. Syncs are idempotent, so running one again never duplicates anything.
Manual sync
You can trigger a sync yourself from the Connections page at any time. Manual syncs count against your plan's quota (except on Pro, which is unlimited with a short cooldown between runs on the same connection).
Scheduled auto-sync
On paid plans, Metricneed refreshes your connections automatically on a schedule:
- Starter — automatic sync roughly 3× per day (every 8 hours).
- Pro — a daily reconciliation sync in addition to real-time webhooks.
Real-time webhooks (Pro)
On Pro, Metricneed registers webhooks with your providers so new sales, subscriptions and refunds land in your dashboard seconds after they happen, with the daily reconciliation sync as a safety net for anything a webhook might miss.
- Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy — configured automatically once the connection exists; nothing to paste.
- Creem, RevenueCat — a one-minute manual step: use "Enable real-time" to get your ingest URL, then paste the provider's signing secret back.
- Gumroad — no webhook API, so there's no real-time step; the periodic sync keeps its data current.
Freshness by plan

|---|---|
| Free | 3 manual syncs per month |
| Starter | Automatic sync 3× per day (shares a daily budget with manual syncs) |
| Pro | Real-time webhooks + unlimited manual syncs + daily reconciliation |
