Connect Gumroad
Add your Gumroad account to Metricneed with a read-only API key — validated live and stored encrypted.
What you'll need
To connect Gumroad you'll need an access token generated from an application under Settings → Advanced. Metricneed only reads your data, so use a read-only or restricted key wherever Gumroad supports one. The key is validated against Gumroad before it's saved and stored AES-256-GCM encrypted — see Security & privacy.

Follow these steps, then paste the key into Metricneed's Add-connection form:
How to connect Gumroad
- 1Log in to Gumroad and open Settings → Advanced.
- 2Under Applications, create an application (any name and a redirect URI like https://metricneed.com).
- 3Click "Generate access token" on that application and copy the token.
- 4Paste it in the API key field. We validate it live before saving, and store it encrypted.
Gumroad has no sandbox — the Mode toggle does not matter; all data is live.
Real-time isn’t available for Gumroad — your sales, MRR and refunds stay up to date through the periodic sync.
Ready to add it? Open Connections in the app (or the onboarding wizard on your first visit) and paste your key.
