Connect RevenueCat
Add your RevenueCat account to Metricneed with a read-only API key — validated live and stored encrypted.
What you'll need
To connect RevenueCat you'll need a V2 secret key (read access) plus your Project ID from the dashboard URL. Metricneed only reads your data, so use a read-only or restricted key wherever RevenueCat supports one. The key is validated against RevenueCat before it's saved and stored AES-256-GCM encrypted — see Security & privacy.

How to connect RevenueCat
- 1Log in to RevenueCat and open the project you want to connect.
- 2Go to Project settings → API keys → New, choose version V2, grant read access, and copy the secret key.
- 3Copy your Project ID from the dashboard URL (app.revenuecat.com/projects/<project_id>/…) and paste it in the Project ID field.
- 4Paste the secret key in the API key field. We validate both live before saving, and store them encrypted.
Use Test to include sandbox (App Store / Play Store sandbox) purchases; Live counts only production revenue. The same key reads both — the Mode just filters which environment we ingest.
Real-time (Pro) is set up manually: after connecting, use "Enable real-time" to get your ingest URL, add it under RevenueCat → Integrations → Webhooks, and paste the Authorization value you set back into Metricneed.
Ready to add it? Open Connections in the app (or the onboarding wizard on your first visit) and paste your key.
