Getting started
Quickstart
Three steps, about two minutes: create an account, connect a provider, and run your first sync.
1. Create your account
Sign up with your email — no credit card required. The Free plan lets you connect one provider with six months of history, which is plenty to see your numbers for the first time.
2. Connect a provider
Right after sign-up, the onboarding wizard asks you to connect your first provider. You'll:
- Pick the provider (Stripe, Creem, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, RevenueCat or Gumroad).
- Choose the Mode — Live for real data, Test/Sandbox for test data.
- Paste your API key. The panel next to the form shows exactly where to find it.
- Optionally add a label (handy if you'll connect several accounts).
Metricneed validates the key live against the provider before saving it, and stores it encrypted (AES-256-GCM). Keys are only ever used server-side. See the provider connection guides for step-by-step instructions per provider.
3. Run your first sync
The final onboarding step imports your data — products, customers, subscriptions and transactions — and shows a summary of everything it pulled in. Then you land on your dashboard.
What you'll see
- MRR with the number of active subscriptions.
- Sales over the last 30 days, with the trend versus the prior period.
- Active subscriptions and customers, with new additions.
- Revenue by product and by provider.
