Metrics
Metric definitions
Every number on your dashboard is computed from your actual provider data. Here's precisely what each one means.
Primary currency
All headline figures are shown in a single primary currency — the currency in which you've booked the most net revenue. If you sell mostly in one currency, this is simply that currency.
Revenue in other currencies is converted into the primary currency using the European Central Bank's daily reference rates, at the rate of each transaction's date — so past totals never drift as exchange rates move. MRR, an instant metric, uses the latest available rate instead. Weekends and holidays carry the last published rate forward. An info icon appears next to figures that include converted amounts; if a currency has no ECB rate, its transactions are excluded and flagged rather than counted wrong. Individual payments always display in their original currency.
Booked revenue
"Booked" revenue counts transactions that are paid or partially refunded. Pending, failed, fully refunded, disputed and void transactions are excluded from revenue totals.
Net vs gross
- Gross is the amount charged to the customer.
- Net is what actually reaches you: gross minus taxes and minus refunds. It's the number closest to what lands in your bank account. (Provider processing fees aren't exposed by the provider APIs, so they aren't deducted.)
The revenue chart has a Net / Gross toggle; your choice is remembered.
MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue)
MRR is the sum of your active subscriptions, each normalized to a monthly amount, in the primary currency. Two details make it trustworthy:
- Each subscription is valued from its latest actual paid invoice (net), not the list price — so coupons, tax and mid-cycle price changes are already reflected.
- Yearly, weekly and daily plans are converted to a monthly figure (e.g. a yearly plan counts as one twelfth per month).
This matches how Creem computes MRR, so your figures line up with your provider.
Active subscriptions
A subscription counts as active when its status is activeand it is not scheduled to cancel at the end of the current period. A subscription that a customer has cancelled but that's still running until period end is therefore excluded — again matching your provider's active count.
Sales (30 days)
The count of booked transactions in the last 30 days, with the percentage trend versus the previous 30 days.
Customers
Your total number of customers (deduplicated), plus how many are new in the last 30 days.
Revenue by product & provider
Net revenue is broken down by product and by provider. For products, revenue is grouped by the "effective product": if you've grouped the same product across providers it rolls up into one line (see Product grouping); one-time and unattributed charges are shown separately.
Trends & time
- Trends compare the selected window to the previous window of equal length.
- The MoM badge on the revenue chart is independent of the selected range: it compares this month so far to the same elapsed window of the previous month (e.g. July 1–16 vs June 1–16), so a partial month is never compared against a full one.
- A trend is hidden when it can't be computed fairly — for the "all time" range, or when the comparison window would reach past your plan's history limit.
- All time buckets (hour / day / month) are computed in UTC.
On the Free plan, history is limited to the last six months; see Plans & quotas.
