Connect Polar
Add your Polar account to Metricneed with a read-only API key — validated live and stored encrypted.
What you'll need
To connect Polar you'll need an organization access token that starts with polar_oat_. Metricneed only reads your data, so use a read-only or restricted key wherever Polar supports one. The key is validated against Polar before it's saved and stored AES-256-GCM encrypted — see Security & privacy.

Follow these steps, then paste the key into Metricneed's Add-connection form:
How to connect Polar
- 1Log in to Polar and open your organization.
- 2Go to Settings → Developers → New Organization Access Token.
- 3Grant read access to products, orders, subscriptions, customers and refunds (plus webhooks for real-time), then create the token.
- 4Copy the token (it starts with polar_oat_) and paste it here.
- 5Pick Live or Sandbox to match the environment your token belongs to.
Polar has separate Live and Sandbox environments — the token must match the Mode you selected.
Real-time (Pro) is configured automatically once the connection is created — nothing to paste.
Ready to add it? Open Connections in the app (or the onboarding wizard on your first visit) and paste your key.
